Hume Riverina Social Workers
In Private Practice Network
Taking expressions of interest
Our profession has continued to grow so much the past few years, and we have so many more social workers in private practice than when I started over 8 years ago. I would love to be able to connect with more of our local social workers in private practice, and build a referral network so our clients can find the best fit.
I’m thinking of potentially of a monthly/bi-monthly network/supervision meeting, where all members of the network take it in turns to organise and host it in their space, including an online link so people who can’t get away from the office can still participate. The host would be able to give a tour of their space, and speak about the work they do, including their niches. The host would organise another person to either present a case study or a training they have attended.
If the space you work out of would not hold a certain amount of people, we are able to host it at Phoenix Wings Wellness, or another space big enough. The host would choose the day and time of the next meeting that suits them, and give the network at least 6 weeks notice of the choice in order to allow us time to shift the work schedules if needed. Trying to find a day and time that suits all of us is an impossible task, so feel this might be a good option.
I’m looking to hold the first one on Friday 16th February at 2pm at our office. I invite you to complete the form below even if you can’t make it so we can keep in contact. At this stage I am asking that only people who have already started working in private practice join in, if you are interested in starting your own private practice, please fill in the form over here.
