Hello, I’m Simone (She/Her). I’m currently a member of the admin team and a group assistant while pursuing my studies full-time as a Creative Arts Therapist. This role provides me with valuable experience working alongside a team of mental health professionals and supports my journey into the field I am passionate about.

I began my Bachelor of Creative Arts Psychotherapy at Ikon Institute of Australia in 2022, with plans to graduate in 2025 and eventually pursue a Master’s degree in Creative Arts Psychotherapy. Prior to this, I completed my first year of registered nursing at Charles Sturt University in 2021, but realised that my true interest is in mental health.

My interest in mental health was deeply influenced by the loss of my mother to cholangiocarcinoma in early 2022. The loss of her inspired me to focus on supporting clients dealing with grief and loss through creative and safe therapeutic practices.

When I'm not working or studying, you can often find me baking something sweet in the kitchen or immersed in creative projects in my art room.

Simone is available for support work with people of all ages, and is especially interested in community engagement and skill building, including art.
