Hello, my name is Jakki Hellema, and I’ve spent much of my life in Wodonga as a local artist. I hold a Master of Fine Arts, with a specialisation in painting. I can teach painting (watercolour and acrylics), drawing, clay work, landscapes, portraiture, creative writing, and collage. I’ve just enrolled to begin my Masters in Therapeutic Arts Practice at MIECAT in Melbourne, and I’m looking forward to incorporating this into my work, teaching self expression and other ways of being creative with emotions. This therapeutic process involves not only learning to convey our feelings through creative expression but also reflecting on how we feel afterward and how it impacts our emotional well-being.

On a personal note, I love dogs, I have a little Spoodle named Eleanor, and I help my sister at her grooming salon. I like to relax by playing video games, listening to audiobooks, and spending time with my family.

Jakki is unavailable until the end of May 2025, but is taking expressions of interest for her return to work. To complete an intake for an appointment with Jakki or organise a 30 minute free chat to see if she is a good fit for you, fill out the form below or call out reception on (02) 6013 9757.
