Workshop 1 – CCAT 1 Friday 11th August

  • 6 exercises of creative arts therapy to get to know your client and allow them to start learning to express their feelings

Workshop 2 – CCAT 2 Friday 25th August

  • 5 exercises of creative arts therapy to allow self-expression and working together

Workshop 3 – CAT Masterclass – Listen to your body Friday 8th September

  • 5 exercises to teach you to notice and listen to your body, and how to show your clients to do so as well

Opportunity to join ongoing and regular arts-based supervision once you have completed at least one day of workshops with Melanie who has completed arts-based supervision training with ANZACATA. Completion of four supervision session will earn further certification.

Creative arts therapy can be a powerful tool for personal growth and healing. Through the creative process, you can explore your emotions, thoughts, and experiences in a non-verbal way. ABOUT US

Melanie Kilo

Melanie Kilo has a Masters in Therapeutic Arts Practice (MIECAT) and a Masters in Social Work, and is an accredited mental health social worker in private practice at Phoenix Wings Wellness in Albury. Melanie works mostly with children and young people across the Hume Riverina region, and recently started offering supervision for professionals.

Janene Castillo

Janene Castillo holds a Masters in Therapeutic Arts Practice (MIECAT), a Diploma of Fine Arts, and Diploma in Sensorimotor Arts Therapy. Janene is also a professional artist, and operates The Artspot Wodonga, a local art school. Her activities include private sessions in creative art therapy (Gentle Rainbow Art + Therapy); and Art for Wellbeing and Freedom Art workshops.
