Lego Therapy Group with Kristin Walsh

  • Phoenix Wings Wellness 419 Townsend Street South Albury, NSW, 2640 Australia (map)

Welcome to the LEGO therapy group program with certified LEGO social and therapy facilitator Kristin Walsh. Lego building therapy groups offer a dynamic space where creativity thrives and imagination knows no bounds. Engaging in these groups isn't just about assembling bricks; it's a doorway to fostering innovation, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. Through collaborative building sessions, participants discover the power of shared ideas, learning from each other's techniques and approaches to constructing intricate structures or imaginative creations. These groups provide a platform for children to explore their inventiveness, enhance spatial awareness, and nurture patience and persistence as they bring their visions to life, brick by brick. Beyond the joy of building, these groups cultivate a supportive community where friendships blossom, and the joy of creating something unique together becomes the ultimate reward.

The program is a widely accepted therapeutic intervention of using LEGO therapy games and activities, and is about building capacity, inclusivity, social connection, team work, communication, and using your imagination, in a sensory safe environment. Aimed at Grades 3-6, for 4 participants, please note this is a commitment for all 7 weekly sessions from Monday 6th May to Monday 24th June inclusive (no group on Monday 10th June due to public holiday).
