Sip, Paint, and Stay with Blueridge Estate
We are so excited to announce a new partnership with Blueridge Estate! Starting March 2023, we are offering a boutique art therapy experience at this gorgeous bed and breakfast in the spectacular Tallangatta Valley. Get together with 3 of your besties and book for a night away of connection, healing, and peace. Surrounded by 360 degree views of stunning mountains, valleys and cascading hillsides, you will connect with your friends, sip on local wines and taste test other local produce while you let your mind heal through a professionally guided art therapy session. Finish the day with a one-night sleepover in a stunning loft-style cottage complete with gas log fireplace and a 5 star luxury bathroom. Your two hour session with Mel of Phoenix Wings Wellness starts with a guided mindful meditation, accessing thoughts and feelings in your body. You then return to your easel, and with you palette of vibrant colours, you put brush to canvas to express and create what you notice and feel. As you paint, you are encouraged to jot down words, thoughts, images, and sensings that come to you, with a quiet time at the end to journal and reflect on your experience, creating a poetic response to this moment in time. Prism - LGBTQIA+ Social Group
We are coming out of the closet… literally. The team at Phoenix have been running this small group program for young people that identify as LGBTIAQ+ for over nine months due to a gap in what we’ve seen locally, and what some of our clients have requested. Now we are at the stage where we are ready to invite non-clients to join in on our small social group, with the hope that we can continue to create a safe place within our community for our queer young people. Aimed at 16 years to 25 years.
